Our event promoting Dining Tales sold out at Waterstones bookshop in Sauchiehall Street Glasgow on a freezing midweek night in November.
The event was hosted by the excellent Paul Trainor from Glasgow World and featured three of the brilliant contributors to the book: Asif Ali from the Shish Mahal, Giovanna Eusebi from Eusebi Deli and Peter McKenna from The Gannet.
All three spoke eloquently and entertainingly about what it takes to make great and sustainable restaurants such as theirs in a highly competitive market.
Marco and Alex also spoke briefly about the background to the book and what prompted them to write it, but the night was really about our guest contributors who told their own dining tales to a packed house and afterwards answered pertinent questions from the audience.
